On the afternoon of March 13th, Zhu Zhibin, the 86th alumnus of our college, member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Science Association, Ma Guibing, member of the Party Group and Secretary General of the Provincial Science Association, and his group visited our college to express their condolences to Professor Zhou Xiang, accompanied by Wang Song, director of the Office of the Science Association of our school.

Zhu Zhibin briefly introduced the basic situation, recent key work and lecture hall activities of the Provincial Science Association, and sincerely invited Professor Zhou Xiang to focus on chemistry and life and give lectures on popular science for the cadres of the Association. At the same time, we also started an exchange around the Special Committee for Decision-making Consultation and Propaganda of the Provincial Science Association. They sincerely invited Professor Zhou Xiang to play the role of a member of the Special Committee for Decision-making Consultation and Propaganda of the Provincial Science Association, make suggestions for the macro-decision of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, and set up an international society with the help of the high-quality platform of the school, carry out academic exchanges and seminars, and expand the influence of the society.

Professor Zhou Xiang gave a detailed introduction to the leaders of the Provincial Science Association on the recent scientific research work, talent team and students' employment. He said that he will fully perform his duties as a member of the special Committee for decision-making consultation and propaganda work of the Provincial Science Association. Relying on the platform of schools and colleges, we should explore the establishment of a chemical biology society, and at the same time, we should actively carry out popular science in chemistry, striving to be a "propagandist" in chemistry and a "master" of the people.
