On the afternoon of April 14th, led by Professor Zhou Xiang, the leader of the research group, experts and professors from many departments of the school, together with leaders of Central South Hospital and first-line clinicians, attended the "Opening Ceremony of the Cross Research Institute of Central South Hospital of Wuhan University and distinguished professor Signing Ceremony", which was held in Central South Hospital.

The establishment of the interdisciplinary research institute of Central South Hospital of Wuhan University is intended to make use of the advantages of both disciplines to jointly carry out cooperation and innovation in scientific research, personnel training and sharing platforms, so as to promote the cooperative research of clinical and other disciplines.

Professor Zhou Xiang and President Wang Xinghuan of Central South Hospital jointly unveiled the Cross Research Institute of Central South Hospital of Wuhan University.

Yuan Yufeng, secretary of the Party Committee of Central South Hospital, presented Professor Zhou Xiang with the letter of appointment as the dean of the Cross Research Institute of Central South Hospital of Wuhan University.

Professor Zhou Xiang said that in recent years, the development of Central South Hospital is changing with each passing day, and the establishment of the Cross Research Institute of Central South Hospital of Wuhan University will definitely improve the research level and transformation and innovation ability of clinical medicine of Wuhan University, and make greater progress in scientific research, education and training.

After the ceremony, the professors had a docking and further communication with the directors of various departments of Central South Hospital.
