The Frontier Forum of Chemical Biology and Health was held in Wuhan University

On November 26, 2022, the Frontiers of Chemical Biology and Health Forum, hosted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and organized by Wuhan University, was opened. The forum was chaired by Zhou Xiang, academician of the School of Chemical and Molecular Sciences of Wuhan University, who presided over the opening ceremony. Tang Qizhu, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Wuhan University, and Li Zhen, Vice President of the Institute of Science and Technology Development of Wuhan University, delivered opening speeches on behalf of the university and the Institute of Science and Technology Development respectively.


The purpose of this forum is to provide a platform for academic exchange between researchers in the field of chemical biology and clinical medical experts in China. Well-known chemical biology and clinical medical experts at home and abroad, including academicians Guo Zi Jian, Yue Jianmin, Peng Xiaojun and Xu Binghe, are invited to give academic reports, exchange the latest research progress and development trends, discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by chemical biology in life and health, especially in clinical medicine, promote exchanges and cooperation, and promote the expansion of chemical biology research results to life and health.

The forum lasted for two days and arranged 30 academic reports, with about 100 participants. The forum is of great significance to promote the development of chemical biology in China, solve the key bottleneck problems in related fields and achieve the goal of healthy China.
