RESEARCH FIELD
1. Small molecule probes: Develop small molecular probes targeting irregular nucleic acids such as methylated nucleic acids, Z-type DNA, base mismatch, G quadruplex structure, and cross-linked nucleic acids, which can selectively act on these special nucleic acid structures and sites, and combine the probe molecules with photoresponsive small molecules, drug molecules, and nanomaterials to achieve the purpose of selective detection or treatment.
2. Epigenetics: Develop highly selective and sensitive detection methods for DNA methylation, microRNA and circular RNA and apply in clinical tumor samples. our team has made some achievements in the detection and regulation of modified nucleic acids, including epigenetically and artificially modified nucleic acids. In the next step, we hope to make some breakthroughs in the study of related biological functions and mechanisms at the gene level by these means, and really apply the detection technology to the early detection and diagnosis of clinical diseases.
